FACILITIES

In November 2003, we moved into our new synagogue. Thanks to the vision of our temple leaders and the generosity of our members, our campus provides warm and inviting gathering spaces for worship, learning and socializing. Our Sanctuary is large and intimate enough for regular services. Our Levin Social Hall and Monsein Community Court offer sufficient space to celebrate weddings, b’nai mitzvot and other simchas and to accommodate large meetings and parties.

As of January 1, 2009, only caterers who have been approved to operate at Judea Reform may be used to cater events in our facilities. If you have questions about this list, please contact Kate Flanagan, our Director of Congregational Services.

Support Judea Reform!

We need your help to maintain our facilities and programs!  You may choose to honor a family member or friend, commemorate a simcha, or make a tribute in memory of a loved one through a gift to Judea Reform.  We have a number of funds to support the work of the synagogue.  For ways to help help support Judea Reform, please click here.

Cemetery
We are fairly unique in that we own our own cemetery, The Judea Reform Congregation Cemetery, located on Jones Ferry Road in Chapel Hill. Members may purchase a site at a substantially reduced cost. For information about our cemetery, please contact the President of our Cemetery Board, Ed Holland, through the synagogue.  For directions to the Cemetery, click here.
Eisman Gift Shop

The synagogue houses The Eisman Gift Shop that contains a wonderful array of Judaica–household items, jewelry, tallitot, kippot, mezzuzot and other ritual objects, books, cards, and holiday items. Purchases can be made from any of our office staff during office hours or during religious school. Be sure to look there first for bat/bat mitzvah, wedding and holiday gifts—or just find something for yourself! For more information, click here.
