Israel Discussion Series

In 2014/15, the Adult Education committee conducted three facilitated conversations for the congregation to recommend educational programs about Israel. In response, our 2015/16 committee launched the Israel Speaker Series. The purpose of the series is to hear from a variety of voices on contemporary issues regarding Israel and the Middle East, followed by moderated discussion.

Judea Reform Congregation aligns itself with the views of the Reform Movement, which is on record as being opposed to the BDS movement. The presentations in the series are not intended to endorse a particular point of view, rather to educate and engage our congregation in important and challenging conversations.
