Support the 2011-2012 Tzedakah Mutual Fund

In 2011-2012, this fund will be used to support the build of a Judea Reform Congregation / First Presbyterian Church/ Fisher United Holy Church of Christ Habitat for Humanity house.  Construction on the house will begin in 2012; all funds raised through this year's Tzedakah Mutual Fund will help!

What is the Tzedakah Mutual Fund?  Each year, at High Holidays, Judea Reform offers the "Tzedakah Mutual Fund" as a vehicle for congregants to give tzedakah to organizations performing good work in our local community, the nation, and around the world.  Past recipients have included American Jewish World Service, MAZON, SEEDS, Durham Congregations in Action, the World Union for Progressive Judaism, the National Jewish Coalition for Literacy, and IRAC.

Judea Reform Philanthropic Funds

Judea Reform Congregation has a number of philanthropic funds to which you may give tzedakah . Whether to honor or memorialize a loved one or to support a project of the synagogue; these funds allow a donor to direct a gift in a personal way.

For questions about these funds or donating to Judea Reform, please contact Joyce Gordon, Executive Director.
