Families Matter: Interfaith Advocacy for Refugees and Immigrants

Tuesday, March 20, 2018 4 Nisan 5778

7:00 PM - 8:30 PMLevin Social Hall

Join us for another round of organizing and advocacy with faith leaders and community members in demanding more for refugees and immigrants.

Tuesday, March 20 at 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Join with others from CWS-Durham, Judea Reform Congregation, Eno River Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (ERUUF), Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Hillsborough and more in an interfaith advocacy event in solidarity with immigrant families, including Refugees and Dreamers. Everyone is welcome!

We are gathering to strengthen our community ties to one another and remind ourselves, our policy makers and larger community that we share a common story - searching for a better life in a new land. Many of our forebears migrated to America, braving oceans and deserts, to join family members in seeking freedom on these shores. As Americans, we continue to welcome and celebrate refugees and immigrants.

Light desserts will be provided (you are welcome to bring a dessert to share, though not required!)
