Monday, September 10, 2018 • 1 Tishrei 5779
12:30 PM - 2:00 PMAl Buehler Trail, across from entrance to Jewish campusTashlich is the ritual of casting away our wrongdoings when starting the new year. Traditionally, we practice this ritual by throwing breadcrumbs into a body of water while reciting Bible verses that encourage us to reflect on the process of atonement.
Self-Guided Tashlich at Al Buehler Trail
Suggested for: Everyone
Some of our members have a custom of visiting the stream near the Jewish campus and performing the Tashlich ritual following Rosh Hashanah Morning Services, which end around 12:30pm. This is an on-your-own activity; copies of the liturgy will be available on the Welcome Table at Judea Reform.
