In Martin Buber's tremendous (and succinct) work, The Way of Man, Buber draws upon core Hasidic Teachings in order to address the core meanings of life and what it means to be human. In our tradition the period between Passover and Shavuot is called "the Counting of the Omer," and it is customary to engage in reflection and introspection in between these two Festivals. With "The Way of Man" as our guide, we will journey through the wilderness of this moment, through a conversation-based learning series, led by Rabbi Soffer.
