Births & Adoptions
Births & Adoptions
Welcoming a child into your family is cause for joy and celebration, for the Jewish people, as well as for those who love them most. You are welcoming someone into your home; we are welcoming someone into our community.
We celebrate with our congregants in many ways, including, but not limited to:
- A "welcome baby" basket from our Caring Community
- A mazel tov announcement in our newsletter
- Hebrew naming ceremonies at our Shabbat services
- Mohel referrals for a Brit Milah (Bris)
For more information about birth rituals consult ReformJudaism.org.
For more information about welcoming a child, here, in our community, please contact Julie Fishkin, Life Cycle & Pastoral Care Manager, 919-489-7062, ext 227.
