Legacy Giving
Legacy Giving
What is the L’Dor V’Dor Legacy Gift Society?
Judea Reform Congregation has established the L’Dor V’Dor Legacy Gift Society to celebrate and thank the individuals who are committed to sustaining our community for generations to come. A legacy gift to Judea Reform Congregation can fulfill your desire to make a meaningful gift, offer you significant tax advantages, and help secure a future of sacred engagement for generations to come.
Should you choose to include Judea Reform in your will or other estate plans, we would be honored to know of your intentions and have you as a member of our L'Dor V'Dor Legacy Gift Society.
Why Legacy Gifts?
A legacy, planned, or deferred gift includes:
- An after-lifetime gift to an existing or new endowment fund of Judea Reform.
Legacy gifts will ensure that Judea Reform Congregation endures and prospers for future generations as a welcoming community that supports, educates, and provides a spiritual home for all who come through our doors.
Judea Reform’s L’Dor V’Dor Legacy Gift Society consists of donors like you that want to secure a future of sacred engagement for generations to come. By joining the L’Dor V’Dor Legacy Gift Society, you will ensure that there is a place where:
- The Torah guides our thoughts and acts;
- Social justice is a moral imperative; and
- Membership is about welcoming and engaging both the affiliated and the unaffiliated
Ways to assure Jewish tomorrows:
The goal of planned giving is to help you plan your estate and charitable giving in a way that benefits you, your family, and your congregation. There are many ways you can make these planned gifts and enjoy tax and income benefits:
- Will or bequest of cash, real estate, securities, or other property
- Life insurance
- IRA and retirement accounts
- Charitable remainder trust
- Donor advised fund
Please consult with a financial or estate planning professional to determine the best option for you.
