Giving Tzedakah
Our Judaism teaches us that it is an obligation to give Tzedakah to help repair the world. Our Social Action Team supports this mitzvot by designating, every two months, recipients who are striving for Tikkun Olam, to receive financial contributions from our community. In many cases, these are causes or local organizations Judea Reform Congregation works with closely. Thank you for supporting the work of social justice with your generosity.
November-December Tzedakah Box
Your November and December Tzedakah Box donations support Meals on Wheels and Emanuel Food Pantry.
In light of the current need in our community, our social action teams have decided to continue funding food insecurity and our No Bread, No Torah Initiative for the last two months of the year. Our partners Meals on Wheels and Emanuel Food Pantry are seeing a surge in folks who need support as their SNAP benefits run out. Please donate financially or volunteer your time with one of these organizations.
