A short film and conversation with Marian Abernathy, JRC Congregant. Marian, her mother, sisters and husband, Dan, travelled to Munich where the Bavarian National Museum reunited religious and secular pieces of silver artwork to the descendants of their rightful owners. The silver was confiscated by the Nazis in 1939 and has been held by the Bavarian National Museum. Marian has access to a short film about the efforts leading up to the “1939 Silver Levy and Reunion of Descendants Convention.” For more information about the “1939 Silver Levy and Reunion of Descendants Convention” read this fascinating article: https://search.app/B7wTziKThqB5FGhf6
