“I know, I know. We are your chosen people. But once in a while, can’t you choose someone else?” -Tevye, Fiddler on the Roof
Join Rabbi Bender for a four part series on the concept of Jews as the “chosen people.” Each class will dive into one Jewish thinker, offering a chance to understand how different theologians have viewed this idea. Together we will discuss the weighted presence this concept holds in our tradition and reflect on its relevance in our modern world.
This class is for adults, is hybrid, and will be capped at 35 people.
