6:00 PM - 8:30 PMCamp New Hope
Join us at 6:00 pm at Camp New Hope & Conference Center for a BYO picnic, followed by a (brief) joyous festival service with songs led by Rabbis Soffer & Damsky and Music Director Allan Friedman. A bonfire and kosher smores to follow.
Sukkot commemorates the period of Jews living in the wilderness. We’re encouraged to spend time outdoors in a sukkah and reconnect to the natural world.
The event is at the O’Bryant Pavilion at the back of Camp New Hope. Follow the signs from the entrance of the camp. Bathrooms are on site. There’s somewhat uneven terrain on a gravel path leading to the picnic shelter.
Enjoy your picnic in the shelter with tables available, no need to bring blankets or chairs.
Picnic at 6:00pm
Festival Service at 6:30pm
Smores and Bonfire at 7:15pm
All are welcome to attend, no RSVP needed.
In case of inclement weather we will gather in the JRC sanctuary.
