Lobby with the RAC
L'Taken is an annual program coordinated by the Religious Action Center (the policy arm of the URJ).
Teens are invited to spend a weekend in Washington, D.C. learning how to communicate with and influence their local representatives. They will attend seminars, learn to write a proposal, and present their ideas to the offices that represent their districts. In their off-time they have the opportunity to meet other Jewish teens, visit the Smithsonian, and see monuments around D.C.
Our Judea Reform teens always love this experience and get to spend personal time with our Rabbis as they all learn together and work towards Tikkun Olam.
