Knit, Crochet, Sew!
Project Linus is a monthly gathering where members work on their own blanket projects, sit together, and schmooze. You can knit, crochet, sew-- whatever works for you. When a blanket is finished, we donate it to Project Linus, a national organization that collects and distributes handmade blankets to children 0-18 who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need. Our members create all kinds of different blankets and you can work on anything you like, while enjoying the company!
Our group makes other items including hats and blankets for other recipients based on needs we learn about in the community.
We meet once a month on Sunday mornings at 10:00am at Judea Reform in the Community Court to stitch and schmooze. Drop in and join us any time. For more information contact Karen Wolf.
Quilters and weavers: Quilts and woven items are welcome! Please contact Karen Wolf if you have items to donate.
