“Tracing one’s roots” is a popular past-time for Jews and non-Jews alike and many on-line tools are available to facilitate this activity.  For a wide-variety of reasons, however, tracing Jewish roots presents unusual challenges.  Mike Kalt, a member of the Triangle Jewish Genealogy Society, has developed an one-hour seminar to introduce the tools and tricks needed for Jewish to successfully trace their roots.  The Adult Education Committee has received many requests over the last several years to offer this type of program and we are thrilled that we have identified a qualified teacher.
