    VIRTUAL: Lay Led Learning Chavura
    Tuesday, Sep 8th 6:30p to 8:30p
One of the joys of being part of Judea Reform Congregation is the variety of learning opportunities there are for us. Join our lay-led learning group for 50+ year-olds. As a group, we decide what we want to learn; the common criterion is that the subjects we tackle will be in some way related to Judaism. The group will decide how often and where to meet. If learning and conversation with a group of your peers would be fun and stimulating for you, please contact Deb LEVin at deb.levin52@gmail.com or Kris Herfkens at herfkens@triangleneuropsychology.com for more information. Noshes provided. We hope to see you there! Please email us for location information on dates we are offsite (every other month!)

Community Selichot: "Our Father, Our King": Wrestling with God
    Shabbat, Sep 12th 12:00a to 8:30p
Words have power, and the words of the High Holiday Liturgy weave a particular story about God and how God works in the world. Through song, text, and reflections, we’ll complicate this story, unpack our God baggage, and find new ways in to our sacred heritage. Led by Eliana Light. Eliana envisions a joyful, vibrant, heart-centered Judaism that speaks to the soul and moves the spirit, reminding us that we all are One.
