JRC Caring Community
Compassion is at the heart of our community -- kindness to those who suffer and grieve, as well as joy with those who celebrate. Our Caring Community supports congregants as they face some of the most challenging moments of change in their lives. We have volunteers providing food, friendly visits, and other help to members who are navigating illness, new babies, grief, and other crises.
We can't help if we don't know who needs help, so please contact us when you or someone you care about needs care from our community. Whether grieving a loss or welcoming a new child, whether facing an acute illness or living with chronic health challenges, whether it's you or someone you care about. We are here to help when we can and to help you find what you need when we can't.
Our committees are:
- Bikur Cholim - Support for the ill
- Dor Hadash - Births and Adoptions
- Kavod V'nichum - Honor & Comfort during Grief & Mourning
- Michtavim - Caring Correspondence
- Meals

If I am not for myself, who will be for me.
If I am only for myself, what am I?
And, if not now, when?
