Continue the Jewish Sacred Aging Conversation
with Rabbi Address Spring 2022
Owning Our Aging:
My Life's Sacred Journey
Thursdays, April 28, May 5, 12 & 19 from 10:30am - 12:00pm, online
Rabbi Richard Address will be joining Judea Reform Congregation, once again, to continue the conversation about Jewish Sacred Aging. Owning Our Aging: "My Life's Sacred Journey," will explore the challenges, joys, concerns, and possibilities of our own aging. We will use the image of the Israelites in their journey through the Wilderness, and our calendar journey from Passover to Shavuot, as we look at a variety of issues, decisions and personal challenges we all face. This will be a four-part workshop; attend one or all.

Judea Reform Caring Community
is proud to announce a series on
Jewish Sacred Aging
Jewish Sacred Aging Workshops for Judea Reform
THE LONG AND WINDING ROAD: Navigating our Life's Journey and how Jewish texts and values can be our spiritual guide for our third and fourth life stages. Rabbi Richard Address will lead the Judea Reform community through a series of sessions throughout the coming months and all are welcome. These 2021 workshops (August/September, October, and December) explore various issues related to aging and entering the third and fourth life stages. Drawing on his foundational work with Jewish Sacred Aging, Rabbi Address will offer teachings for the High Holy Days, new rituals for new life stages, and the art and challenge of the life stage of caregiving.

Compassion is at the heart of our community -- kindness to those who suffer and grieve, as well as joy with those who celebrate. Our Caring Community supports congregants as they face some of the most challenging moments of change in their lives. We have a large group of volunteers providing food, friendly visits, and other help to members who are navigating illness, new babies, grief, and other crises.
We can't help if we don't know who needs help, so please contact us when you or someone you care about needs care from our community. Whether grieving a loss or welcoming a new child, whether facing an acute illness or living with chronic health challenges, whether it's you or someone you care about. We are here to help when we can and to help you find what you need when we can't.
Our committees are:
- Births and Adoptions
- Illnesses
- Grief
- Caring Correspondence
- Meals
