Sponsor an Oneg or Luncheon
Judea Reform's Sponsorship Program
SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM
Looking for a way to celebrate or honor a special occasion, while supporting Judea Reform? You can now sponsor a Friday Shabbat Oneg, Torah Study, First Fridays, or Community Shabbat.
What is a sponsorship? A sponsorship is a one-time donation to Judea Reform Congregation that is associated with a specific event.
Friday night onegs: A time so snack and schmooze every week after our evening Shabbat service (excluding First Fridays).
Torah study (breakfast): Bagels, coffee, and tea for folks attending Torah Study in-person
First Fridays (pizza and dessert): Dinner and Oneg dessert for our Family Shabbat program the First Friday of every month
Community Shabbat luncheon: Catered luncheon following our Saturday Community Shabbat Services.
Why sponsor an event? Sponsoring an event is a way to celebrate, honor, and remember loved ones or mark special occasions. When you sponsor an event we will publicize your sponsorship with table top signage, mention your sponsorship (and its dedication) in our weekly eNotices, and recognize your philanthropic contribution to Judea Reform in our Tzedakah Times, so that the JRC community can celebrate with you.
Examples of Potential Sponsorships:
- Honor your B'nei Mitzvah at a Friday Oneg
- Sponsor Torah Study in honor of an important teacher in your life.
- Mark a milestone birthday or anniversary
- Sponsor a First Friday meal from your whole family
- Sponsor a Friday Oneg in memory of a loved one or to mark a yahrzeit.
- Recognize your friend group or Chavurah with a Community Shabbat sponsorship
Pricing:
Friday Night Oneg - $180
Torah Study - $180
First Fridays Meal & Oneg - $360
Community Shabbat Luncheon - $360
How to Sponsor an event: JRC staff maintains a running calendar of sponsorships for the upcoming year. Please contact Executive Assistant Jodi Lampley at jlampley@judeareform.org or call 919-489-7062 ext 233 to request dates and schedule your sponsorship.
More than one sponsorship for an event is permitted so if a particular date is important to you we will make sure to honor it.
