The community Tisha B’Av service will be held on July 21, 2018 at 9:15 PM at the Kehillah in Chapel Hill after Shabbat. Judea Reform volunteers who would like to participate by doing a reading in this services should contact Andrew Geller by Sunday, June 10.

Tisha B’Av is a somber holiday commemorating the Destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem. In our time, it’s recounting of the exile of our ancestors is echoed in the refugee crises and population movements that are occurring throughout the world.
