Why did you decide to give a legacy gift to Judea Reform Congregation?
We both grew up in Reform Jewish communities and were actively involved in the North American Federation for Temple Youth (NFTY). Though we did not realize it way back then, this shared experience shaped our dreams for the kind of social justice focused, ruach-filled, caring community we wanted for our future.
We have more than realized this dream at Judea Reform Congregation. That’s why when we had the chance to give a legacy gift, we immediately said yes. We could not imagine a better way to give back to the community that’s given us and our family so much.
What a gift it is to be able to turn to Judea in times of joy and sadness, to have a home where we can celebrate simchas and a community that comforts us in times of mourning, where we can freely and fully laugh, learn, lead, pray and sing.
This investment is our way to say thank you to you, the community of Judea Reform. You have helped us realize our dreams. Now it is our hope that we can hold fast and grow these dreams for all the generations to come.
