Italian Jewry: February 29, March 7, and March 14 at 7:00pm
The Jewish community in Italy is the oldest Jewish community in the diaspora having been established shortly after the fall of the Second Temple in Jerusalem. However, most people know little about the community. This three-part program, presented by Dr. Ugo Goetzl, will introduce Italian Judaism to JRC. The program will cover the history of the community, its culture and its on-going response to antisemitism in Italy.
