2017-2018 New Membership Form

How Much to Contribute?

This form will help you calculate your annual pledge for membership support and fees at the standard contribution levels for each age category and membership type. We rely on every member to contribute as much as you are able. For those who are able to contribute an amount greater than the standard contribution level, your additional support allows Judea Reform to be fully inclusive of all Jews, regardless of financial circumstances.

We also recognize that membership support should never be a burden on any member’s budget or a source of stress, and we encourage members who cannot afford the standard contribution level to write in an amount that represents the financial commitment that you are able to make. Alternatively, you may contact our Executive Director or our Financial Secretary to talk about a membership commitment that works for you.

Payment Schedule

You may pay your pledge according to a schedule that is convenient for you. All membership support must be paid in full by the end of our fiscal year: June 30, 2018.

CHILDREN

Please tell us about all of your children, even those who are now adults.

COMMITMENT TO INCLUSION AT JRC

Judea Reform strives to be an inclusive, diverse, and welcoming community to all. We are committed to supporting special needs families and individuals, older adults, interfaith families, people of color, LGBTQ families and individuals, and others who belong to traditionally underrepresented communities within JRC. Our goal is to make it easier for congregants to more fully participate in the religious, social, and educational life of our synagogue.

The following items address the inclusion of interfaith families, children and adults with special needs, and older adults, corresponding to the three Inclusion Subcommittees currently supported by JRC. A comments box is provided in this form for you to describe your specific inclusion needs, which may go beyond our three current areas of focus. The information you provide in this section will be used to make JRC as inclusive as possible. Alternatively, you may choose to discuss these matters directly with clergy, staff, or with the Inclusion or Membership committee chairs.

A. Interfaith Families

The Interfaith Subcommittee works to ensure that families that include non-Jewish members feel welcome at JRC.

B. Children and Adults with Special Needs

The Special Needs Subcommittee works to enhance the comfort and participation in JRC activities of children and adults with special needs, including cognitive, behavioral, neurological, developmental, and medical disabilities.

C. Older Adults

The Older Adults Subcommittee works to facilitate participation of older adults in JRC activities.
